1. Do I have to work at Terminal in order to receive compensation for this referral?
No, you don’t have to be hired through Terminal to receive the referral bonus. If the referred is successfully hired through Terminal, you will receive the $1,000 bonus, even if you haven’t secured a job yourself.
2. When will I be paid if someone I referred lands a job?
Your payment will be sent out once the person you referred reaches the 90-day mark at their new company.
3. When and how will my friend and I get our $1,000 USD referral payment?
Your payment will be sent out once the person you referred completes 90 days of employment at Terminal. You will receive your payment in the form of an Amazon gift card. Due to legal restrictions, we are unable to provide cash compensation for the referral reward.
4. Is there a way for me to track the status of my referrals?
We currently do not offer a way to track your referrals within the product (but it is coming soon!). In the meantime, if you have questions, please reach out to referrals@terminal.io.
5. Is there a limit to how many friends I can refer or the rewards I can earn?
No! Please feel free to refer as many of your qualified friends as you wish and collect your rewards accordingly.
6. Who is eligible to be a referral?
Our current program applies to candidates in Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Poland, Romania, and Spain only. Referrers cannot refer themselves.
7. Where can I find my referral link/code?
You can access your referral link in your account at app.terminal.io/referral. If you have trouble finding your link, please email referrals@terminal.io.
8. What if my referral forgets to use my referral link?
If any candidates you referred lost access to your referral link, please re-send it to them. For a referral to be valid, the referred individual must sign up using your referral link.
9. How do I know when I've successfully referred someone?

10. Do I have to be a Terminal employee to refer someone?
No. If the person you refer gets hired by Terminal, you are both eligible to receive the $1,000 USD gift card payment. Note that you do need to have a Terminal profile in good standing in order to share your referral link.
11. How long are referrals valid?
To receive your referral bonus, the person you refer must accept a job through Terminal within 6 months of signing up for Terminal using your unique referral link.
